Dirt Floors

If your root cellar has earthen floors, you’re in luck! Simply sprinkle water on the floor to create moisture that will evaporate into the air. If the floor feels dry when you touch it, it’s time to add more water.

To prevent muddy feet, consider laying down gravel or wooden plank walkways for easier access.
